Commercial Complex Lighting：LED Wall Tiles (Part 1)

Lighting plays a key role in enhancing the atmosphere and attracting visitors to urban commercial complexes. In this article, we showcase two projects that feature Shone LED wall tiles. These innovative tiles form distinctive building facades, boosting visual identity and contributing to the area’s nighttime vibrancy.

 Times Fanghuali is located in the Hanxi Wanbo business district of Guangzhou, adjacent to the 5A-rated Chimelong Tourist Resort. It is a mixed-use complex integrating office, retail, and cultural functions.

 

The podium façade incorporates a variety of materials. The lighting design adapts to these with corresponding techniques and brightness levels, achieving both harmony and artistic expression.

 

In the red brick façade area, Shone LED wall tiles are used as accent elements. Their surface is customized to mimic red brick texture, blending with the building’s materiality. The LED wall tiles emit soft, uniform light, creating a subtle and engaging visual effect at night and enriching the architectural layering.

 Located in the core area of Furong New City in Shaoguan, Guangdong, Shaoguan Poly Plaza is a large commercial complex with a total area of over 160,000 square meters.

 

At the northeast entrance, the designers created a signature facade using luminescent units. To achieve a slim build and consistent glow, they innovatively employed Shone LED wall tiles. Each tile maintains a neat and gentle glow, whether lit or unlit.

 

Through DMX512 control, the façade presents dynamic light variations. Soft dot lights transition into surface-level visual effects, creating dynamic and engaging expressions that enhance the building’s visual impact.
