Shone | 2025 Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Conference

 

Hosted by the China Association for Disaster Prevention, the 2025 Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Conference was successfully held at Hangzhou International Expo Center from April 28-29. This annual event remains pivotal for the disaster resilience sector.

 

At the sub-forum themed "Innovation-Driven Development of Safety and Emergency Industries," Mr. Huiqiang Zhang, General Manager of Guangdong Shone Lighting Co., Ltd., delivered a keynote presentation titled "Case Study: Major Disaster Monitoring, Early Warning and Control Project for Guangdong Provincial Highways." He detailed Shone's role in supplying and commissioning equipment for 41 out of 44 pilot highway sections (including the Meizhou-Dabu Expressway) during Guangdong's 2024 initiative. Mr. Zhang also discussed the factors behind this successful implementation and shared operational insights.

During the concurrent 2025 Disaster Prevention Public Welfare Ceremony, Shone Lighting was honored as a "Socially Responsible Organization in Disaster Prevention" in recognition of its exemplary work across these 41 pilot projects.
 

 

Shone's participation enabled valuable exchanges with industry peers and experts on innovative applications of High-Speed Road and Bridge Disaster Warming System. Moving forward, Shone looks forward to collaborating with industry leaders to enhance road and bridge disaster resilience—making the world a safer place, one project at a time.
