Dezhou Solar Town

Located in the High-Speed Rail New Area of Dezhou, Shandong Province, the Dezhou Solar Village spans 60 hectares (902 acres). This integrated development combines exhibition halls, hotels, conference facilities, offices, commercial spaces, and municipal roads. It served as the official venue for the 2017 Solar Decathlon China competition.

The Solar Village project utilizes advanced lighting technologies to create a captivating nightscape. Architectural lighting harmonizes with dynamic musical fountains, while viewed from above, the integrated illumination blends seamlessly with the Dezhou skyline, painting a picture of modern urban beauty.

As a leading LED floor tile manufacturer, Shone Lighting provided innovative LED floor tile solutions for three key ground lighting features within the Solar Village. Our technology helped shape an immersive and interactive light environment that masterfully blends aesthetics with functionality.

1.    Linear Light Guidance with Strip LED Floor Tiles:
The main pathways feature Shone's strip LED floor tiles, creating distinct ground-level linear light bands. This not only effectively connects different functional zones and guides pedestrian flow but also forms unique, symmetrical light patterns visible from elevated viewpoints at night, significantly enhancing the overall visual appeal.

 

2.    Architectural Harmony with Square LED Floor Tiles:
The ground surrounding key buildings is equipped with Shone's 300x300mm square LED floor tiles. Programmed with dynamic light effects like rippling water and gentle pulsations, these IP67 waterproof LED floor tiles create a stunning visual dialogue with the architectural facade lighting, resulting in a spectacular interplay of light and movement.

3.    Interactive Engagement with Piano LED Floor Tiles:
In high-traffic outdoor plazas, Shone's interactive piano LED floor tiles were installed. These tiles add an element of fun and create a captivating public space for engagement and interaction.
