Huibo Shanggu Plaza

Huibo Shanggu Plaza, located at the intersection of Chaoyang Street and North Second Ring Road in Baoding City, Hebei Province, boasts a total construction area of 240,000 sqm. Centered around the themes of "experiential" and "interactive," the project integrates modern art with architecture. It encompasses nine major formats including fashionable commercial streets, Grade-A office towers, high-end executive apartments, and business hotels, leading Baoding's urban upgrade and establishing itself as a new landmark for culture, art, and trendsetting commerce.

The commercial outdoor pedestrian street in the project's Phase I north section utilizes three curved outdoor plazas to organically connect and organize the entire commercial flow. One main plaza draws inspiration from the "Waltz." Featuring floor tiles in varying shades, it forms four concentric circles echoing the plaza's main curved outline, crafting an interactive "Waltz Plaza." The different color combinations also create a distinct sense of depth.

 

The innermost two concentric circles are further enhanced with Shone round LED floor tiles of various sizes. These round LED floor tiles feature built-in DMX512 controls and interactive sensors. After lighting up at night, each step people take triggers dynamic color changes. This integrates moving elements into the landscape, forming a delightful interactive spectacle that significantly boosts the fun of the commercial space, becoming a shared playground for both adults and children.

 

The round LED floor tiles used in the plaza come in two sizes: 500mm and 300mm in diameter. Installation strictly followed LED floor tile supplier Shone's guidelines, executed professionally by partners. The joint gaps between the LED floor tiles and surrounding pavement were kept ≤1mm, ensuring uniformity and a clean finish across the entire plaza surface.

The round LED floor tiles boast an IP67 waterproof rating. The project site rigorously adhered to LED floor tile supplier Shone's product standards and installation protocols, maintaining joint gaps ≤1mm and meeting high waterproofing requirements. This ensured the tiles continued to function perfectly even after being submerged for 1-2 days during flooding caused by Typhoon Doksuri.
