简体中文Flower City Square, acclaimed as Guangzhou's "Urban Living Room," is situated at the core node of Zhujiang New Town along the city's central axis. It stands as Guangzhou's largest public square.
Alongside the approximately two-kilometer-long wooden walkway, LED floor tiles supplied by Shone Lighting, a leading LED floor tile supplier, were specifically installed to outline the central water pool. At the heart of the square, Shone's LED floor tiles also form the primary paving for much of the ground surface. As night falls, these luminous tiles emit a soft glow. Synchronized with the square's music, they create a grand urban light show for pedestrians and visitors, delivering a captivating visual feast.
Since 2011, the Guangzhou International Light Festival has been hosted annually at Flower City Square. In 2015, UNESCO selected the festival as a flagship event for the "International Year of Light," elevating it to global recognition alongside the Lyon Fête des Lumières and Vivid Sydney as one of the world's three major light festivals. This established Flower City Square as a renowned platform for international cultural exchange.
