Commercial Complex Lighting：LED Wall Tiles (Part 2)

Lighting plays a vital role in enhancing the commercial atmosphere and attracting footfall in urban mixed-use developments. Today, we showcase two additional projects (Click to review the previous two cases) that feature innovative use of Shone LED wall tiles to create distinctive building facades, boosting visual identity and energizing the nightlife of the business districts.

Covering approximately 80,000 square meters, Qingyuan Poly Plaza is situated within the Guangzhou-Qingyuan half-hour economic zone and at the heart of the city's urban and regional life. It serves over 300,000 high-end residents, offering a large shopping center that integrates retail, leisure, and entertainment.

 

The exterior employs marble walls randomly accented with Shone LED wall tiles. The stone-look LED wall tiles blend seamlessly with the natural stone, achieving a clean and consistent appearance. The irregular layout adds depth and dimension to the building after dark.

As the largest experiential commercial complex in Shunde, Foshan, Midea Real Estate Plaza comprises a super high-rise office tower, three residential towers, and a retail podium. The attached Wonderful Square is not only the largest but also the only international-grade shopping center in the area.

The entrance canopy is equipped with Shone linear lights and RGBW floodlights, which create dynamic color variations to enrich the commercial ambiance. To avoid visible joint shadows and ensure uniform illumination across the podium’s curtain wall, Shone LED wall tiles were innovatively adopted. Installed flush with the stone cladding, they deliver a soft, even, and clean glow.

During the day, the luminescent tiles stand out against the glass curtain wall as decorative facade elements. At night, they provide subtle accent lighting that enhances the building’s aesthetic and fosters a relaxed and engaging commercial environment.
